The Improved You

Acting like your external doesn’t matter, or the way people you perceive you doesn’t matter, is truly hustling backwards. That stuff really DOES matter. The way you’re perceived by other people has a huge effect on the way that you’re able to live your life, and more importantly, it has a large, direct effect on how much influence you’re able to wield with other people.

Don’t accept people in your life who haven’t made an actual contribution to your happiness, or a legitimate investment in your success. Don’t reward the women around you just for being attractive. Don’t reward family members just because they share the same bloodline as you. Don’t reward your friends who don’t contribute just because you’ve known them for a long time.

Working 40 hours per week is not going to get you anything but a regular degular average life. If you truly want outsized results, prove it by putting in outsized efforts. If you are going to complain about having to work extra hours, then perhaps success just isn’t for you. If you want to put in average effort then get real comfortable with being average and the mediocrity that comes along with it.

Keeping a positive mindset throughout your journey is paramount. There are going to be incidents that are going to bring you down and test your patience, and you have to be able to maintain your poise and composure through such situations. Every time you are given an opportunity to fold, you need to instead see it as an opportunity to show strong and resilient you really are.

Now is not the time to play around. In fact, there is truly NEVER a time to play around. If you are intending to get anything of quality in this life, or you want to accomplish anything even slightly significant, you are going to need a sense of urgency. You can’t just sit around and wait for something to happen; you have to go out and MAKE things happen!

Lessons are often best learned through blood. If you are going to build, become better as a man, if you are going to grow, it is very likely you will have to go through much pain. But it’s really just a prerequisite for progress. In order for you to become one someone or something greater than you currently are, there is going to have to be a struggle.

You are not special. There is absolutely no reason for you to think that you should be the exception. Why should you not have to put in all of the work that is required to succeed ?? Why should you be exempt from having to go through the struggles that other people go through in order to win? Why do you think that things should come easy for you? Why are you not subject to the same learning curves, the same disappointments, the same heartbreaks that others went through?? Why should you get to have it so easy when others have had it so difficult for such a long time?? That’s right… you shouldn’t. Now get to work.

Life isn’t a game. You CAN gamify it, but at its very core, it is DEFINITELY not a hame. It is not something that you need to be playing around with. It’s actually something that you need to focus on, something that you need to stay disciplined with. You are not going to be able to separate yourself from others by playing around, by joking, by taking it easy. NO!! You have to put in full out effort. Get to it!!

You really got to realize that there ARE people out there working as hard as you, and there are certainly people out there working harder than you. You need to ALWAYS be cognizant of that. No matter what your situation, no matter how good that you feel it feel it may be, you are still able to improve upon it. You are able to make it better; at least you have the chance to make it better. It just requires that you put in more work than you put in before, in order to get greater results than you’ve ever had in the past. Every time you reach a new level in life you end up realizing there’s another level above you that you never even knew existed. Reach that level. So that you can be elevated and able to reach even higher.

Everything must be looked at as an opportunity. You can’t let any situation get you down, and you can’t take any circumstance or moment you’re in for granted. Each moment is singularly important, and a part of your life as a whole. Every day that you’ve been blessed with the ability to breathe air is an opportunity for you to improve your life, a chance for you to make things happen, a chance for you to be even more productive than you were the day before. Do NOT take any of these moments for granted; your life literally depends on it.
